A Poet's FrustrationA Poem by Emilee GrimmI am so in need of inspiration!!!I search for the right words to leave on the paper But the ink doesn't flow, the paper rips and crinkles. I sigh in anger and despair; the paper absorbs my tears. No inspiration comes to mind. I pull at my hair and pound fists into the table. Why can't I write? Have I been cursed? Perhaps I've been shamed. I throw the paper out and damn that stupid pen... life is a drag when a poet cannot write. © 2009 Emilee GrimmAuthor's Note
