MelancholyA Poem by Emilee GrimmCyclothymia
I can feel it returning to suffocate me
I thought my cycle was over and I could go back to being normal I want to be focused and pleasant But this nothingness, this agony Is coming back again To haunt me To clutter my sleep with nightmares To dampen my everything I can't escape it and I can feel it I hate it when it is gone, but love it when it is here I fear I will never be rid of it I just want to be free But still, I can feel it Returning to suffocate me I thought my cycle was over and I could go back being normal.
