Heartitecture

Heartitecture

A Poem by Emilee

The tallest building in the world
is 2,722 feet tall.
But that is but a mere centimeter
compared to the walls you build
inside yourself

and here i am, i want to break down
each individual brick, one by one.
I want to uncover you, I want to know you

And when you crash down on me,
I will not weep. It will not hurt.
For I was the one to erupt the earthquake
inside of you,
It will be the best thing I have ever done

Because I know you see through,
everyone's facade,
and I also know,
part of you,
wants someone to see past yours.
