untitled

lack of sleep plays
with written words
that tear at the seam
and flutter along black birds
the forbidden door locks,
life is the key,
I beg for it back,
I’m down on my knees!

Loud knocks resound
I shake in fear,
I glance at a light
then wince and stay clear
alas a mourn in the distance
i go forth in terror
I hold onto my heart
but stay far from error
My words lie and I fall
fall deep within a phone call
and enter back onto reality
in a cabinet next to a broken porcelain doll

Love this, so full of meaning
Love the last two lines the best
"and enter back onto reality
in a cabinet next to a broken porcelain doll"
