There is NothingA Poem by E. M. ErnstIn response to "When are you happiest? When have you felt lonely? When do you feel proud?"
There is nothing that makes me happier
than sharing a movie with you sharing popcorn fingers and soda breath with you. There is nothing that makes me happier than sharing a drive with you sharing blurring sights and gas money with you. There is nothing that makes me happier than sharing an evening with you sharing our thoughts and feelings and loves and passions with you. There is nothing that makes me lonelier than watching a movie by myself not bothering to make popcorn nor pour soda alone. There is nothing that makes me lonelier than driving by myself destination to place no music for you alone. There is nothing that makes me lonelier than an evening by myself no one to share thoughts or feelings or love or passion alone. There is nothing that makes me more proud than being by your side than loving you most than sharing everything with you my thoughts my feelings my love my passion together.
