Rearrange Reality

Rearrange Reality

A Poem by Alisa Lawton
"

Reality is a perception which means there exist the opportunity to change and reorient life.

"

Express yourself
in the widest range of possibilities
that stretch you into the realm of "what if"
Discover the cliff of your comfort zone
then soar above, beyond what you know
into the unknown of potential

This world was flat until
Aristotle usurped established reality
proving reality is just a perception inhabited
by the masses until
a single alternative voice
gains momentum into an avalanche

of new ideas and the previous truth is abolished

Understand.
Reality is a perception
molded out of your organic thoughts
collective thoughts you control
to determine how the the mind views
what the eyes see

Therefore, your reality can be
altered, dismantled, changed
resulting in the abandonment
of your previous truth
to shape a truth more beneficial

Creating the power to paint
your interior and exterior existence
into a masterpiece of impressionism

This echoes my own thoughts so to say that I merely enjoyed it would an understatement. Actually, I empathize with the ideals put forth here. I am sending you a piece I wrote sometime back entitled Insight. I want you to give it a read and see if you don't think our thoughts are complimentary on the subject. I'm not panning for reviews or anything of that sort but only trying to share my thoughts with a like minded friend. I do hope you will give me the honor of reading it. It isn't posted here which is why I am sending it in a message. I'm also sending along a friend request. It's very nice to meet you.

This is a great piece that offers up a great message. A message that more poeple should live by. I liked the verse:
"This world was flat until
Aristotle usurped established reality
proving reality is just a perception inhabited
by the masses until
a single alternative voice
gains momentum into an avalanche"
Really supports the meaning behind your message. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
