Chapter 2A Chapter by Ember
When I next opened my eyes, I found myself in a different place. It looked more like a small bedroom, despite the sparse decoration.
I was lay on an actual bed this time rather than a table, a thinning blanket was over me meaning someone obviously cared enough to keep me moderately comfortable but not enough to give me something a little warmer. My room had a small window with bars that separated me from the outside world. I didn't have any trees in my view this time however. Instead I had the view of a high drop that proved the building to be on a small cliff with crashing waves storming at the rocks.
