Paint For Me

Paint For Me

A Poem by Ashlyn
"

I wrote this poem while I was at the beach. I looked down and noticed that the sand looked like cinnamon...and it game me an idea.

"

Paint for me the waves, the rolling crashing waves,
they push and pull toss and play,
paint for me the waves.

Paint for me the sand, the gritty damp sand,
it sticks and molds, bends and folds,
paint for me the sand.

Paint for me the sky, the warm forgiving sky,
wispy clouds fading blue,
paint for me the sky.

Paint for me the Sky so blue,
paint for me the sun so bright,
paint for me the bickering waves,
through every busy day,
through every starry night.
Paint for me.

This gave me a very clear picture. I was there. I'm sure an artist could paint you this picture on canvas if you told them this poem. Good job!
