Foreshadow

Foreshadow

A Story by Robyn A. Everest
"

Sometimes the best place to be is in the past.

"
Gone is the shadow of doubt, for our nation prospers in the power of knowledge. The Collective Head sees everything in our future, so fate is infallible and our destinies are pre-designed.
And in all that information, they neglected me.

Too bad for them.

I am a shadow. I am a phantom. I am the fear inside your head that never goes to bed.
But I am the past, the forgotten, the alone.

I am the foreshadow.

They never saw me coming. It was beautiful, the fear of ignorance, how it twisted their countenances.
I ended prosperity. I killed knowledge. I birthed doubt.

The end is coming for you, my darling, do you see me?
Are you watching?

Too bad for you.

Author's Note

Robyn A. Everest
A little bit of dystopian for the evening. I think I'll write more stories about Foreshadow later on. He's a very evil, very fun character (Think Bill for you G. Falls fans).

I like it. Spaces don't count as characters apparently.
