DishesA Poem by Noche
I know you're doing the dishes,
And that puts my mind in a place, Where if I had a few wishes, I'd take us past time and space. See the world in all it's glory, As days and nights pass overhead, Unfolding into a grand story, With more love than what's been said. Forged by the tempered beat, Of two hearts that sing on through, A symphonic stringing beat, Bringing me closer to you. And though some time we spend apart, As distance makes the heart grow fonder, But to the day we can finally start, The thought makes my mind wander. At just how long you'd want me here, Wanting to wrap you in this arms of mine, Ridding you of any fear, Letting you know everything is fine. And even if it wasn't so, I'd try my best to change it all, Just so you know, It's true angels fall. Cause one has found their way into my heart, Giving me pride and strength to stand, And work through this time apart, A knight under your command. Lasting as long as your heart so wishes, Runs my mind, as you do the dishes... © 2013 NocheAuthor's Note
