It is estimated that a staggering 246 million children across the world are exploited child laborers. Between 60 and 115 million of those children work in India. More than 20,000 children die in work-related accidents annually. According to the National Consumers League(2000), 10 years after 155 countries promised to provide education for all children by the year 2000, 125 million million children worldwide have not spent a single day in school. Some estimates have as many as 1.2 million children being trafficked every year.
