When the Sun Goes Down

When the Sun Goes Down

A Poem by EMA
"

Heart breaking.

"
Remember those days when you loved me,
You used to tell me how night becomes day.
And then you held out your hand and say,
"Come on, ride on my back.
Let's chase the sun and never let the night fall out."

And it was 2 am and we're fighting,
but I don't remember anything.
Now I feel so cold and blue
Watching you walking through.

Where is my sun that makes me warm at night?
Where is the promise you made when you were mine?
Baby, it was gone
when you said we're done.

And since then,
the sun goes down and never rises again.

I'm not really sure about the title. It sounds lame.

For some reason when I read this I think of the title "Curse of the Sunset" Just throwing it out there. Broken promises, emptiness and cold within. It eat at your soul after sunset. Hope you're doing ok. Nice write by the way EMA
