Beauty Of The Night

Short poetry to describe the beauty of the night.

The lingering darkness,

and shades of blue,

when shadows slumber,

and dreams wake,

burdens forgotten,

hopes remembered,

when the eyes catch hold of it,

they become paralyzed.

Stretched out like a blanket with no wrinkles,

inked with the color of space,

littered with silver diamonds,

and an orb that shines the brightest of them all.

Even in the darkest of times,

does it stand out glowing.

Silence caging the living,

and beauty, entrancing.

Where subtle ambiance of the wind can be heard,

and felt,

enough to drowse you,

into a short yet deep rest.
