A short poem I wrote that inspired my monologue, 'A Child No More'.

Alone Together

It was your thoughts

That gnawed at me

It was your hands

That clawed at me

It was your loneliness

Taunting me

Into the shadows

Into the darkness

Into the only thing known

Isolation

Loneliness

And alone

Together
