Sleep Writing

I Know I haven't wrote in quite a while (i've been drawing mmostly) and this is relatively short, but I'm just glad something came out.

I write

In my head

At night

when I’m half asleep

And at that point too tired to get up

And find some paper and a pen

So it’s all too bad

That come morning time

I’m left with nothing

But a blank slate

And a forgotten mind

i agree with dr. wood. my question to you is do you also gain inspiration from certain types of music as well?

we have all been there.....Many is the time also that inspiration has hit me and I've reached out for the pad and pen only to knock over the glass of water....Most good ideas come in the early hours I am told....This was a good write
