Killing Kindness with Attitude:    Say Thank you!

Kira sat in the library writing in her spiral, her only friend.

“Hey girl…” Zee shouted standing right behind her and unaware of the librarians persistent shushing.

Kira jump, but remained silent.

Oh great she thought… If she did hangout with people, Zee would be the farthest from her mind. He’d probably be voted the rudest in the class…if ever there was an election, but then again he’d probably be voted the cutest too. He was such an ugly package in such a pretty wrapping.

“Girl? She has a name!” Sam laughed pushing his hair behind his ear.

“I think I know that…everyone has a name, what makes girl any different?”

“Yeah, yeah” Sam groaned, and then turned to her. “It’s Kira, right?” there was calmness to his voice.

“Kira, I’m better off calling her girl.” Zee gleamed. “So girl…I was wondering if”

“No, thank you.”

“Ahh…” Zee rubbed at the temples of his head, and Kira winced at the sound. “I, uh you haven’t even heard my question yet.”

“No.” When Kira got up to leave Zee placed his hand on her shoulder.

“What no thank you?”

“Okay…” Sam said removing Zee’s hand from her shoulder “let’s go harass someone else, Zee!”

“I was only being friendly…I’m not the stalker type” Zee smirked.

“We both know you got problems.” Sam laughed as they headed towards the exit.

Kira sighed. She couldn’t help but to be curious to what the question was. She had hurt that boy if only for a brief second and she couldn’t risk that again…not after what happened to Molly.

"He was such an ugly package in such a pretty wrapping." That's a lovely sentence! I love this book, it makes me curious to see what's going on in that head of hers for being like that. And it makes me want to know where this so-called Molly comes into play.
Good work. *Claps*
