Friend TriangleA Poem by unspokenguilthe hates her she hates him they like meI have two best friends They hate each other But they both like me One a little too much To where he's practically humping my knee Metaphorically Speaking It's obvious to everyone but me People i dont even know smile sheepishly Hinting a i told you so But he'll never say it And that's fine with me I could never picture us romantically And her? She hates him so As he does her She just can't stand him You couldn't ask her to explain He always has to be right I can't please both It always ends with a fight Both pulling at my arms While i strain He insults me It's funny to him She rolls her eyes annoyed by his grin She's alot like me in many ways So to make it easy on me... How thoughtful of her She wont make me choose She just wont talk to me no more Why must they be so dificult? For a while i'm not talking to either one I can't let her get away with that So i confront her And she apologizes But in the end i choose Like i should of done all along Now left with one friend The most i can handle i suppose Or the most that can handle me In this foolish game of friends and foes © 2009 unspokenguiltAuthor's Note
