Only in my dreams

Only in my dreams

A Poem by unspokenguilt

Only in my Dreams

He invaded my dreams so thoughtlessly
Ignoring the signs hanging swaying free

He invaded my dreams in search of me

I hide and watch
Behind a familiar thought
As he slides around

Why is he searching for me in here
When I gave him chances in the big out there

Should I pop out to say goodbye
Cause I missed my chance to tell him why

Not even in my dreams can I have him truly

So untouchable just the thought of him
Too scared to even mention his name

The first to admit then run away

 He caught me

Selfish pride

Let Me Go

I scrolled through your work and this title caught my eye. I have a curiousity about dreams. I love this poem, what better way to remember a vivid dream than to write it out as well as you did! I look forward to reading more of your work.
