Unthinkable Truth

I glanced at the sun that mournful day, unaware that as I stood still, I faded.
My everyday reality, torn from me, tears following through my veins, as we get closer and closer my stomach churns, and with each step I know once I’m there my spirit will fall.
I enter a place of unspoken guilt, the screams I can’t bear, I clasp my ears, shut my eyes and seal my lips not wanting to hear, not wanting to see and not wanting to speak.
A word playfully dances across my mind taunting me “breathe…” I seal my fate with every motion, tossing and turning over its deadly potion.
A dream trickled in my view, with thoughts revealing me and you.

i'm not quite sure, but it sounds like a forbidden affair. the poem has a brief, lonesome beauty that centers on guilt. Keep it Up :)
