It Never Was me

It Never Was me

A Poem by unspokenguilt
"

It's more of a too short for song, but rhymes thing. I wrote it about a boy.

"

It Never Was Me
She couldn’t please you, yet you stayed.
I’d try to please you but you’re fazed.

I try to tell you, but you hide,
Not aware of what I felt inside.

Even though, she’s really gone,
I feel I’m doing something wrong.

Is it her, or is it me,
Could I be your somebody?

A simple yes, a simple no
That’s all it takes to free my soul.

Instead I crumble as you sigh,
every passing makes me cry.

I’m feeling weak, he’s feeling strong
Well guess what he’s moving on.

I fake a smile, you stroll along,
Our talking terms are far past gone.

Love that last verse...sad poetry with all the insecurities of love. Thanks for entering the Missing Him, Missing Her contest.
