I Gotta Pee

for my dear best friend, Deepshikha, who suggested i write about how she's feeling at the moment when i asked her for a topic :D

I'm crossing my legs

Watching the clock

Waiting for the bell

Before people gawk

I'll run out of the room

Not a moment too soon

And run back to my place

Before I'm marked late

I've got my homework out

And pencil in hand

Just waiting for the sound

One sound of command

The seconds tick by

My palms become damp

My breath becomes deep

I'm caught by a clamp

This feeling erupts

It's getting hard to see

Only a few more minutes

But s**t, I gotta pee

I just had to read this for the title alone and I am glad that I did. Ha, I really enjoyed this piece. It had a good rhyming scheme, a very great flow, and it was an entertaining read on top of all that. And yes, we can all relate to this. Never dawned on me to make a poem out of it but you did it and did it very well. Nicely done.
