It's OUR fault

People come and go

And ask what God intends

Making people suffer like this

How far He makes us bend

 

But there's only so much hunger than can wreck us

There's only so much wrong to be done

There's only so much pain we can feel

There's only so much hatred to be spun

 

There's only that much fear to weave

There's only so many lies to be told

There's only so much  reality can do

There's only so many terrible fates to unfold

 

There's only so many people to die

There's only so many not born to live

There's only so many obstacles to face

There's only so many souls to give

 

So what are you people waiting for?

Do you want lists, graphs, numbers?

Don't wait to see how bad it can get

By that time we'll all be 6 feet under

 

Just get up and do something for yourself

Act fast cause the sand of times are flowing

Don't keep thinking it's not that important

Just because others are already going

 

The world needs people, people who care

Her sacred ground is being scarred

As man's sanguine blood stains her land

Each one of us being marred

god or gods aren't going to do anything for us. They are created out of mans endless need to be saved from his ways.
