Will

Will

A Poem by Elvis Gilley
"

poetic rambling

"

rhythm, rhyme, what a waste of time

a minute, hour, I've lost the power

the power over will

I seek a thrill

A dime a dozen

my heart is frozen

a wasted minute, hours to spare

does anyone one of you really care?

long for peace in a life of dreams

watching the breath grow shallow it seems

so we are back to rhythm

back to rhyme

was it really a waste of time

a minute, an hour, face it I have lost my willpower

I believe such a state can sometimes deliver the most wonder. Lost your willpower? Fine. Just keep your eye lids open and watch. You might be amazed..
