Dilema

Dilema

A Poem by Elvis Gilley
"

Sometimes the greatest lost in love is the loss of innocence.

"

Confused

about so many things.

I wonder God do you care?

Are you really there?

I have stretched forth seeking you.

I have fallen.

Alone I will rest against the ground.

Trying to smile but all I do is frown.

I miss my little girl.

I miss her smile.

I need to know is she safe from harm?

God, I just want to hug with these arms.

The lies, the betrayal, it hurts

like hell.

I want to cry,

my heart is dying.

I need you

I need you

tonight my Lord, I need you

more than ever before.

I am hurting and there is no relief.

I want to live.

I choose to be happy.

I want to be whole again.

Please, you are the last breath.

I need to know if you are here with me.

Don't leave me.

Please never betray me Lord.
