Paths

Paths

A Poem by Elvis Gilley
"

In our spiritual walk we come to many crossroads this is one such journey.

"

Life is a maze

 puzzling at best

full of temptation

 doubt and stress

A troublesome task

 for the intellectual mind

a pathway full of dreams

 I have yet to find

Paths not taken

 but often reviewed

fears long since conquered

however now renewed

Left or right

where should I turn

my only guide

a spirit which yearns

Paths and choices

must be made

Some are blessings

others I wish I could trade

Alas

through the course of life

I shall overcome

moments of strife

With each new journey

I shall travel

I no more shall fear

when things seem to unravel
