Do you feel my love?

Do you feel my love?

A Poem by Elvis Gilley
"

Memories bring us closer to others.

"

By twilight, passion flickers

with flames of desire

against the black canvas

I observe your twinkling eyes

I stand before you

as the sweet fragrance of youth fills the air

A gentle caress

from my fingers, stir the deepest emotions

A gentle kiss

upon your rose colored cheek

Please tell me,

can you feel my love.

A warm kiss

upon your moist lips

Candlelight glistening

in those cinnamon eyes

while ringlets of hair

flowed in the sultry breeze

Delicately you breathed

Gently I whispered

my love into those attentive ears

As I wonder

do you, my dear, feel my love?

I yearn to hold you

against my chest

I want to feel the pulsing of your heart

If only once I could awake

to a kiss from my love

To brush your cheek

while we share a tender kiss

Oh, my dear, I do wonder

how of all men I am blessed

In the morn

when I arise

it is your love I beseech

As I wonder

Do you feel my love?
