PurposeA Poem by Elvis GilleyMy poetic attempt to understand the meaning of life.In the midst of my frailty I stand amazed of mans stupidity.
In the silence of fear and shame, I stand and play these mind numbing games. In a world which Satan reigns.
In this day of wasted hours, I stand in the door of selfish bliss. A world which I have created.
So in the midst of this rhyme, among the lesson of wasted time. I ask, what purpose does your life serve. © 2012 Elvis Gilley |
