Run and Play

Run and Play

A Poem by Elvis Gilley
"

Fatherhood brings great joy, unfortunately some memories fade over time. This is such a memory caught in words.

"

Seek,

Search,

you will find,

those thoughts that confuse even the strongest of minds.

Walk,

Run,

you will come to,

the realization that the love within runs true.

Play,

Laugh,

as you enjoy the precious moments of affection,

stand in these few minutes of sweet reflection.

Tender,

Soft,

are the visions of life we share,

Caressing your golden hair.

Think,

Ponder,

the mysteries of mankind,

pray that it is love that one day we all shall find..
