discussions (part 1)

preperations and plans for the war and the next generation ruler.

            As we left the Throne room Jason said " did you get a good look at father?" To wich i replied " I noticed. he's ill or age is catching up with him." we thought for a moment. Then quietly he stated " well either way it means his death is soon. about 6 months to a year now. What should we do?" after thinking for a moment i explained" We have two options. Option one: one of us resigns from our position in the court, then gets married and takes over. Option two: we see if we can convince Laura to find a husband and be married." After a moment we started to look for Laura. Laura is our 15 year old sister. As we were looking we ran into our mother who told us that the family will be dinning in a smaller foom so that we could talk openly without servants hearing.

           An hour later we found Laura in the library studying a map of Lycron's boarders. She looked up as we approached and exclaimed " I know why your here. You both saw father and know what is soon to happen. Thatt is why i told mother we should dine at a smaller table with no servants around." We looked at her and were both thinking the same thing. This conversation would be put off till dinner. I then left and went to my room. As i walked in the first thing i thought was " has it really been this long since i left?" noticing that everything had a thick layer of dust. But then i went over to the curtain next to the balcony and pulled it away from the wall. It was still there. When Jason and i were little we drew ourselves on both the wall in my room and his. I sat there reminising for i don't know how long. but there was a knock at the door. " Enter" I commanded.  My old friend and personal servant walked in and said " Dinner is ready my'lord." I then left for a long dinner with important discussions.
