prologue

The opening of the story

       I was monitoring the boarder between Lycron and Shephia. When i saw a small army marching towards the mountains that seperate the countries. i silently said to myself " Damn. Looks like those rumors were true. I've got to tell the king." I quickly climbed upward to a small cliff. When I stood up again i heard growling. "shelip" I commanded. then a large jet black dragon with glowing red eyes and red wingtips steped foward." I know buddy. I know. you want to fly" I stated. Buddy had been  my pet, friend, and close comrade for about 10 years now.

           By the way my name is Deamon. I am son to the king of Lycron but i told him i didn't want to be the next king and just sit around like protocol orders, so that's why I lead the army.I have a twin named Jason who did the same. But he speacializes in magic so he leads  the mages of the army.I was thinking about my twin at that moment to. Jason and I get along like all twins do but have major differinces. I prefer night and being with my friends or being in solitude. Whille he prefers day and studying with the grand cleric of the court. I specialize in melee and he specializes in magic. I pulled myself out of my thoughts and jumped up onto buddy and shouted " upward!".

      A couple hours after that buddy landed in the courtyard at the castle. as i clambered off, Jason and his dragon Lance landed. It was at that moment i started to compare our dragons too. Lance is white with blue eyes and blue wingtips and smaller than Buddy. But Lance and Buddy are twins to. Yet again i pulled out of my thoughts.

      "Hail my brother what news do you have?" I called to him. " Hail to you aswell my dear brother. I have grave news. The grand cleric had fallen ill and died last night." he responed. I told him" And I have worse news yet. Shephia has mobilized a small army and sent them to the boarder." we both let our news sink in for a few moments. " We must report to father at once." said Jason.
