Dúlin, The Firstborn Nightingale

On old character of mine.

Rumor has it, that the east
winds were carrying songs of magic,
sang by maiden through the beasts,
calming, cleansing all their tragic.

She bathed in raining blossoms, gorgeous,
the ancient woods she softly lit,
her voice did touch the roots hypogeous,
many thought she’s just a myth.

Her smile and carriage were divine,
with eyes - moonsilver mysticism,
her lips, like cotton blood red wine
and skin, unknown to realism.

Of lullabies there was clearly none
that she could not outsing by herself
and so the mistress carried on,
until she became The Night itself.
