Big BangA Poem by Claire MarieA poem describing the effect one person can have on another...take from it what you willYou left me.
You left my mind a faltering incoherent muddled incongruous jumbled up wreck that I can't even begin to sort through.
You left my heart a shattered crushed demolished destroyed collapsed mess that I can't even think to put back together.
You left my life a worthless meaningless pointless despicable empty waste of energy that I can't even try to deal with.
You starved me until I was small enough to consume And you spit me back out So that I am now Just one unrecognizable monstrosity.
You were the Big Bang, Leaving behind layers upon layers of debris.
Once that debris is wiped away, however, It will reveal something changed, And I pray to God that that change Will be for the better.
For now, I spend my pitiful days Picking up the shards of whatever I once had in me And placing them back where they seems to fit, In a mosaic that's too premature to tell If it's art or garbage.
