Them

i was listening to a song and this just happened...

she stares at him and watches

there is a moment of confusion and turmoil, a blank moment

but then he makes a decision;

he goes to her but backs away

 

then she sees him for who he is and then he finally understands.

          the climax

 

          a long stare

 

          building of more confusion

 

he sits, she follows

they simultaneously imagine the future, gliding along together as if on ice

it becomes simply pleasureful and all is well

when they stop together and are spinning along with one another

and life all around ceases...
