ChildhoodA Poem by Ellie Davisevery childhood should be care free and full of adventures..
Childhood
Jumping into muddy puddles, Running around like mad Joining your parents for late night snuggles And the look on their faces when they now that you've been bad. Annoying your brothers; Driving them insane! Dreaming of the days when your life is filled with fame. Never wanting to grow up, Stay forever young But being a kid is hard work Always being told to "Hold your tongue!" Falling asleep at your own party, surrounded by your gifts. Dancing in the shower, Singing along to Taylor Swift. Not being able to eat an ice cream without it going all over your face. Everything's a competition, everything's a race. And when your older you'll look back and see, That that's how every childhood should always be. E.D © 2017 Ellie DavisAuthor's Note
