Living Doesn't Last

Living Doesn't Last

A Poem by ellie may

Living doesn't always last

But always does the past

One day our memory fades

Our image becomes a blur of shades

Trees will one day fall

Everything big was always once small

Life passes by too fast

But never does the past

Rivers grow and shrink

Eyes open and blink

Life changes slow and fast

Always like the past

The future is unknown

Unlike who shall be seated in the thrown

Living doesn't last

But always does our past

Times will chop and change

Earth will rearrange

You're life will not last

But always will your past.
