A Different Path

A Different Path

A Poem by ellie may

Perhaps if I wore your shoes for a day
I would understand why you do the things you do
But your shoes are a different size,
My feet dont fit them and;
you refuse to even walk with me for a moment

So tell me,
how am I supposed to understand you
when you run the opposite way to my every direction
We were supposed to walk the road together...
Why'd you change course
and choose to run a path of hate & destruction?

I really like your first stanza. It was written really nice and really put up an interesting thought in my head. I liked the poem altogether, nice job.
