Miss Sylvia Plath

Miss Sylvia Plath

A Poem by MiaIntheSkywithDiamonds
"

In homage to one of my favorite poets, no copyright infringement intended (in reference to The Bell Jar)

"

Of she whose eyes now glassy cold

One extravagant tale hold

Lilypads of ashen smut

And words so falling as they must

Layer upon layer of lipstick fuss

Your poems, Miss Plath, do fall to dust.

Since She is your favorite poet, and since I don't understand the meaning of the last line's refrence, I don't believe it fair for me to review this poem. If you can send me some work from this poet via message so I can read her for myself, I will be more educated to review this piece unbiasly. Your tempo and fuidity that I come to expect is there and The Flow and the abstract is superb, I just can't provide a good review, on no info about the Author your payng homage to. Good write as far as technicals and I am sure it is probably and excellent tribute. Again please send me some of her poems, and I will make a point to re review and rate it... Thank you. :-)
