For Every Boy I've Kissed

For Every Boy I've Kissed

A Poem by MiaIntheSkywithDiamonds
"

A collection of haikus dedicated, chronologically, to my kisses.

"

I:

Friendship is golden

When we are babes born to dust

Backstage at Christmas.

II:

They: You can do it

We: Yes we can and we did

They: We thought you would.

III:

The best way to break

A sixteen-year-old girl's heart:

Say you love her, cheat.

IV:

He hates cheesy stuff

Doesn't feel it anymore,

But she's cheesier.

V:

I was a virgin

Said no but you didn't stop

Get away from me.

VI:

Your mouth tastes like mint

And vodka and maybe rum

Drunk kiss between friends.

VII:

Freshman till junior

Only sexual tension

Post-high school truck sex.

VIII:

You said no fireworks

First kisses aren't everything;

Do you still want me?
