A Poem by danielle.

I’m looking for a metaphor
Like a beggar seeking faith
I’m trying to out run myself
But can not get away
Everything is perfect
Everything is fine
Except the sheet of plastic wrap
That’s stuck across my mind
I took it to the forrest
I took it to the sea
I took it through the night and then
It took me through the day
I looked at it from down below
I looked from up above
I can not find a way to let
You back inside my love
I saw the ones this morning
Again this afternoon
Afraid I have the answer
But refuse to hear the tune
Perhaps if I pretend a little longer
I can change
Perhaps I’ll shake the feeling
Of a rabbit in a cage
It’s maddening uncertainty
Oh she of little faith
No wonder there’s no metaphor
To beautify this page.

Wow! Some powerful uncertainties in this one that shakes one to the core of being.
I feel you are trying to find the importance and essence of things, relationships and worthiness.

it's a metaphor that's a metaphor...and you are looking for a title.
But sometimes...the maddening uncertainty just has no title...
Sometimes with love, there just is no going back.
nicely done, elle,
