I'm not sure I'm feeling a strong connection between your title and your poem, but that doesn't really matter. Your poem feels like a clever way to say that things in life are interconnected. Even when one thing feels so unfair, in the next breath, we are wondering how we could be so deserving of some amazing gift life has put at our feet. It's so useless to sit & grind on some singular event without putting it all in context with how life balances out! So yeah, just now I got the connection between title & poem! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie

Anyway I’m glad I did actually manage to sum this one up and thank you again for your thoughts I really appreciate it :) x
I'm a firm believer in balance and relationships have to be worked at. They don't just happen, but it takes two to work at them, not one. I like your little poem, it has wisdom and a clear voice.
balance takes work..i know, have been there...and have been with someone who said relationships and love should just happen smoothly...we shouldn't have to work at it...i know that is not true..
and harder we do love...the deeper must go the fight.
i really like this piece, especially your terrific use of slant rhyme...
