Liar

Liar

A Poem by danielle.

I said I was numb,

but I was afraid to feel.

I said I was angry,

yet in truth I was hurt.

I said goodbye,

when I knew it wasn’t.

I said nothing...

but I meant, I miss you.

Sometimes we speak in a language of wrong words.
Walk away to clear sentences that just come too late.

This poem is just what I needed to get me going. It feels so good to connect with someone when you're down. Thank you!

I am pleased you could relate. Thank you for saying so x
We always say the opposite of what we mean. Then of course, we regret the words. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
