Blank Pages

Blank Pages

A Poem by elledupi
"

Wanting to Start your journey, a new life, a new you...

"

Here i am, this is me

A creation of self, that it will be

Trying to fill the page

i find myself heavilly engaged

Do i go this way

Or do i choose the route that leads to dark and grey

The pages are stil blank

My being is is always up for question,

im being told to walk the plank

Why do i choose to listen to you?

I have my own a mind,

i should just do what i want to

I choose to ink the pages

To be all that  i can

And look past damages and regrets

For this life can be free of demons,

only if we refuse to fret

Beautifully put. My favorite verse “I choose to ink the pages To be all that i can”. How absolutely true
