Too Intense

Too Intense

A Poem by Elleannatasha

I swear to Dog, if I hear this one more time
I'm going to scream -TOO SHALLOW!-
In their f*****g face!

I'm beyond tired of these words,
Of being told that we don't talk about
Such things, we don't speak like that in polite company.

My Scorpio Moon begs to differ with your version
Of polite. When the f**k were you crowned
Etiquette King? Should we just walk around

Zombies of consumption pretending that we feel
Nothing? Or only what they tell you too?
Don't talk about Ego's and mysticism. It's rude.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Someone, bring me a spaceship
I want a new planet! Where we are allowed to be
exactly what we are without reprimand.

I'm tired. Jaded. Cynical anymore...
With all this polite conversation and
Superficial repertoire. Its exhausting.

We all agree. I'm intense. I don't bother
With too much tact or beating bushes
I see and feel deeply and I CAN'T HELP IT!

Why is it such a problem? I don't get it.

I'd hate to see you ordering food at Mcdonalds. "I said Cheeseburger you f*****g a*s! Hows that for consumption." haha
