Space ClingA Poem by ElleannatashaIt's all about respect... which must start with self.
You know you can sense when it is time for some space
A little breathing room to let heads stay straight To regroup, find direction, commune with your goals That need that you observe, fearing its meaning, Is not an invitation to cling, it is not rejection Nor is it a catalyst to close yourself off. It is simply an invitation to give and receive respect Because someone who knows to keep their energy inside When it isn't that savory or safe for consumption Is someone who understands the nature of the thing The need for balance and room and breath They know how to know themselves. Savor that, celebrate it, kill the fears that whisper. Those who know when to withdraw and take stock Are hamonious chords in the din of self abuse.
