10 Seconds

10 Seconds

A Poem by Ellis Dee
"

Something I wrote which, in hindsight, seems to have a lot to do with 2012. Or so it feels to me.

"
Bad A*s zombies from the ceiling
You and me, staring at eachother right before the sun blows up
A wave of destruction,
A rip in the sky
Aliens invading, no longer hidden
A giant fear in the sky.

Nowhere to run but to your arms
Ten Seconds to make it all okay
Ten Seconds to spend with you,
Before The End.

We make ammends, with eyes interlocking
A smile and a twinkle of the eye, and we know "It's alright..."

F**k yes I love it! Apocalyptic tale of last love. The end is beautiful. Omega.
A joy to read.
