Lord, help us to quiet the monsoons of our minds
Warm the blood in our bruises
And stain the shattered glass in our souls
Let us sweeten the soil of this salted earth
Realize the radiance among this wreckage
And open our eyes to
The holiness in plainness
The freedom in forbearance
The sweetness in storms
And the life in death
