the last poem i'll throw in your direction, part I

A Poem by Ella Boyd

i don’t want to kiss you

i want to watch your

lips form the most

delicate words that

shatter upon exiting the cavernous space of

gleaming teeth and parroting tongue,

falling in microscopic pieces

down the front of my

dirty white shirt

Beautifully captured. Saying so much in so few words is a talent indeed. Thank you for sharing.
