Image in the Mirror- Mine

A Poem by SilentDreamer

I can't imagine
How it will feel
In eighty years,
When at the time,
I look in the mirror
And see a stranger.
Her face is wrinkled;
Her body is frail,
Easily broken.
Her mouth curves up
in a persistent smile.
And her eyes are so alive.
Yet so hauntingly familiar.
Which is when I slowly realize
They're mine.

Sometimes I think about the same thing, but I think that when someone grows old...they won't really care whether they got wrinkles or anything =/
Kinda sad...and great write! :D

This is a very unique subject to write about. Especially since your a teenager (from what I've read from your About me page). Once again this is a wonderful write, very well written I will add. Great job, I enjoyed reading.

Again, brilliant!
Sometimes I wonder like that too and remind myself to enjoy my youth - even though high school sucks lol!

Haunting. We all fear the coming of age and the disappearance of our identities soon we would forget who we are and go from this world as innocent as when we were born. Beautiful
