Take a Stand!

 

We all met

A large mass of bodies

Pressed together

By the flag

Feeling the minutes

Go by

Then we were off

Walking, screaming

In rage!

At the unfairness of it all

To the courthouse!

To Main Street!

Down the middle of the road

Make them hear

Understand

It's just not right!

And we won't stop!

We will be heard

You stop, have an open mind

And listen to what we say

Believe...

Join us.

Take a stand!

I was part of a protest a few days ago and afterwards I knew I had to write about it. The result is this and various short stories. I do not own this picture. Thanks for reading, please review :)
