From Darkness to Dawn: Healing Wounds

From Darkness to Dawn: Healing Wounds

A Poem by Eliza_Sharmaine
"

An empowering poem that delves into the depths of despair and rises triumphant from the shadows.

"
In the depths of despair, I once did dwell,
Loneliness, rejection, my silent hell.
Perfection's grip, a relentless foe,
Unworthiness whispered, casting its shadow.

But from the darkness, I found my light,
A beacon of hope in the darkest night.
Through trials and tears, I forged my way,
Embracing the dawn of a brand new day.

Loneliness, once a heavy chain,
Now a reminder of strength regained.
Rejection's sting, a distant sting,
For I've learned to rise and spread my wings.

Perfection's mask, no longer my guide,
In imperfection, I now abide.
And unworthiness, its voice grows dim,
For I know my value lies within.

So here I stand, no longer confined,
A survivor of the battles of the mind.
Through courage and faith, I've found my way,
And in overcoming, I've learned to stay.
